The Kenya University Sports Federation Western Conference (KUSFWE) is a dynamic multi-sport organization dedicated to managing university-level sports, games, and recreational activities in Western Kenya. With a focus on fostering student-athlete excellence, KUSFWE oversees programs across ten esteemed member universities: Maseno University, Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology, Kisii University, University of Kabianga, Kibabii University, Rongo University, Kaimosi Friends University, Tom Mboya University, and Great Lakes University.
These events are specifically designed for students enrolled in Diploma, Degree, or Master’s programs of at least one-year duration and are open only to participants under 25 years of age.
Competitions begin at the conference level and progress to national and international events. At the national level, KUSF organizes a wide variety of events, including:
Internationally, university teams compete under the Federation for East African University Sports (FEAUS), the Federation for African University Sports (FASU), and the World University Games governed by the Federation for International Sports Universities (FISU).
KUSFWE hosts competitions and recreational activities in flexible formats, including annual, biannual championships, leagues, and special events, tailored to the needs of university athletes.
Our programs are designed for actively enrolled university students under 25 years of age (students who have not celebrated their 25th birthday).
